Tractor-drawn aerial features
MAXIMUM FLEXIBILITY
KME Tractor-Drawn Aerials (TDAs) can be built as ladder companies or are able to be spec'd as full quint-rated units built to enhance your department’s versatility. With options for a heavy-duty pump and up to a 500 lb rated tip load, these TDAs arrive ready for both suppression and rescue missions.

VISIBILITY
Designed for precision in tight spaces, the TDA’s tiller cab features a “No‑Post Vision” design—eliminating traditional A-pillars to optimize driver sightlines. Choose between standard hinged or optional rear-sliding doors for even greater access.
CUSTOM BODY STORAGE
Equipped with up to 500 cu ft of compartment space, KME TDAs are crafted for gear organization. Strategic storage solutions accommodate long ground ladders, hose stacks, and bulky equipment—ensuring your team arrives fully prepared.

Rear mount platform

BIG PERFORMANCE
KME’s AerialCat™ rear-mount platforms provide exceptional reach and functionality. Offering a 248° rotation and 10° below-horizontal capability, these aerials can reach 14′ below grade—all while extended only 33′ from the apparatus. A robust turntable retention system enhances safety under extreme loads.
GREATER EQUIPMENT STORAGE
Every AerialCat™ rear-mount body provides over 240 cu ft of full-depth, full-height compartments—including room for 1,000′ of large-diameter hose. With up to 26″ deep layouts and straight-shot hose beds, every tool has its place.

Flow Rates of over 3,000 GPM at the Platform
Built for heavy-duty operations, the rear-mount AerialCat™ delivers over 3,000 GPM at tip while carrying a 250 lb platform load. Dual UL-certified monitors and integrated waterways mean self-sufficient performance—just hook up the water source.
KME Pro series kme aerial
MINIMIZED PUMP SPACE
The Pro Series integrates the pump without compromising compartment space—allowing increased storage while maintaining a compact footprint.
OPERATOR ERGONOMICS
Featuring vertical swing and push/pull pump handles, the Pro Series simplifies operation and shortens training time. These controls are intuitive, durable, and fast to operate.

BETTER PERFORMANCE
With the Storefront Blitz™ interior attack monitor, the Pro Series allows crews to fight fire from ground level —up to 30° above horizontal. The aerial also maintains 8° below-horizontal reach and includes anti-trip rungs and LED/photo-luminescent walkway lighting for safer operations.
SAFETY IN CLIMBING
Every ladder features slip-resistant rung covers, photo-luminescent markers that glow for up to 20 hours, and optional full-length LED Lumabar Pathfinder™ lighting—ensuring safe climbing, even in low-visibility or adverse conditions.

KME Firestix™

variety of configurations
The KME Firestix™ combines aerial and pumper functionality on a single commercial or custom chassis. With a 500 lb tip load and UL certification, Firestix™ delivers nimble aerial reach and integrated pumping capability.
Tuck Away Monitor
Equipped with an electronically controlled, tuck-away monitor, Firestix™ offers streamlined scene control without compromising ladder access or structural integrity.
folding handrails
Its extendable rescue ladder includes folding handrails, offering an 18″ internal width and 12″ apex clearance. Handrails fold into the ladder profile for compact storage, enhancing both safety and accessibility.

KME Tuff Truck™

With a cab and body width as narrow as 96” and a wheelbase as short as 198”, the KME Tuff Truck™ fire apparatus is built to navigate around tight city streets, taking maximum drivability to a new level. The two sets of H style stabilizers have been engineered to only fully extend to 12’, allowing for positioning and unrivaled performance on an 11-degree slope.
The Tuff Truck also integrates mitered corners, which causes the rear tail swing to be reduced by 9” and diminishes the possibility of damage to the rear body. Add on its increased water capacity of up to 650 gallons of water and 240 cubic feet of body capacity, and you have one enhanced firefighting truck!
COMPACT & CAPABLE
Built on a narrow 96″ chassis and a 198″ wheelbase, the Tuff Truck™ delivers full-sized performance in tight urban environments. Enhanced by mitered corners and a short 12′ outrigger stance (10′6″ short-jack capable), it maneuvers where others can’t.
BIG ON FEATURES
With a 650‑gal water tank, 25″ deep compartments totaling 185 cu ft, and a dual-rear-axle design, this compact platform offers firefighting capacity and braking stability unmatched in its class.
NO RESTRICTIONS
The Tuff Truck™ operates fully on slopes up to 11° and allows unrestricted aerial movement even at low angles—and all from one of the shortest aerial chassis in the industry.
